This is MaTTz round tail design, created through testing and feedback with SD local Josh "The Dick" Kennedy. The result speaks for itself...
The concept is lower volume combined with larger planing surface = a responsive ride. This board is super fast. It has all the benefits of a round tail yet is super drivey. The idea is to go a bit shorter, and wider, but not too wide. Medium rocker in the nose, accelerated rocker through the tail. Low rails combined with the round tail make this board well suited for good surf. It also works well in the slop. This shape is a favorite of underground rippers from San Diego to Santa Cruz.

"The Destro" (destroyer)
THIS IS THE FASTEST SHORTBOARD IN MY QUIVER. Just as the name states. This board is a Destroyer. Not an Old school fish. It is a performance shortboard that has been slightly modified to be insanely fast in average, daily surf. This shape generates speed super quick and still turns on a dime. What more do you want!
Order the "DESTRO" 3-4 inches shorter than your regular shortboard. Add an inch to the width.
If you live on the RIGHT COAST this should be your daily driver!

"LB"
LB stands for Little Bobber, but I like to call it the Lil' Bastard. Super fast, and great when the waves are small. Super low rocker and a tremendously wide outline. The massive tail throws tons of water. Get one with wings for quick snaps or no wings and draw lines. order 10 inches shorter than your potato chip. A great alternative to your typical cool guy stick...
